I have been not so patiently waiting for Devil’s Betrayal to come out to Amazon. I pre-ordered it even because that is how eager I was to read it. Thetta James is one of my favorite authors and my only favorite author for the MC and Erotica Romance genre. I LOVE HER BOOKS!!!! I am not shy to say it. I LOVE HER BOOKS!!!!!!!! Thetta James is not afraid to take chances in writing and her creativity and THAT is something I can definitely admire.
As for her NEW Release that came out on January 9, 2024, I am proud to say that I was up reading way past midnight. I wish that people would give her a chance and read her words more because she is incredible.
Thetta James wrote a book I could not put down. She’s amazing. I cried laughing. The Russian mafia, it was so good to see Russian people represented. The way it was written was masterful. I applaud Thetta. Russian mafia is definitely ruthless from what I have watched in Russian movies. The way she made the accent so clear made me laugh because it’s so true.
Now….. the love between Micah and Camille. SWOON. He is definitely book boyfriend lover material. I know I was reading older hero/heroine but it was soooo satisfying. It was an incredible second chance story. I was not expecting the book to be so AWESOME! It was unexpected and I loved every minute of it. Thetta James, I am honored to know you and I’m so happy I get to read your words. Thank you!!

Since I have decided to use this blog for book reviews, I will start 2024 off with a book series…….
I have not read a lot from Dylan Allen but what I did read has definitely changed my look on books and I mean that in a good way. I have waited to read all three before I gave my reviews. Why? Because I could not put these books down. Milly and Dean, Addie and Simon, and Lilly and Harry……. MY, MY, MY, What different destinies….
Still the One by Dylan Allen
I was not expecting this book to be so emotional over a book. This is the first book in The Symbols Series. Milly is a single mother raising a son. I was amazed at how independent and strong this woman is. Her family is dealing with a crisis, her father’s disappearance after he was accused of stealing from the company he worked at. Her boyfriend, Dean abandoning her because of it. Milly finds strength and moves on to create a family and a business of a wedding planner. One day, the man she loved walks in with his fiancee to plan their wedding.
Let me just say DEAN IS THE MAN EVERY GIRL WANTS!!!!!!! When read the book I was crying. I cried during the intimate scenes. I can’t explain why. I just wanted that kind of relationship. I wanted the man, I wanted the care, the love. The fact that they never stopped loving each other even after they were separated and did not talk for fifteen years…. That got me… Their love became stronger. This story just had me feeling everything. Milly and Dean were destined to be together. I will always love a story that can test time and obstacles and still the characters will end up together. It was the most satisfying, romantic, heartfelt story ever.
The next book in the series is Then Came You! Now, reading Still the One, I knew that there were three sisters in the story. Then Came You is Addie’s story.

Addie is a talented lawyer who comes to London to work on a project with an architect firm. She is trying her best to hide away from the troubles of her family. She even goes so far as to change her last name. When she meets Simon….. LET ME JUST SAY—–AHHHHH!!!! Simon is just EVERYTHING!!! I love their relationship.
Their relationship has been very unusual but also predictable at the same time. The fact that Simon and Addie had to work together was interesting when they met in the office. I could almost feel the tension through this book. Addie and Simon were always meant for each other. Even when Simon unveiled his big secret. Addie was keeping the family secret as well. But the way they find their secrets out and the way…… This just got me
“I’m going to get my girl”—Simon. THIS IS JUST EVERYTHING!!!!!!! Please tell me real men actually say that and go in search of the woman they love. Please because I’m still waiting for someone to fly across the country for me. THIS book was incredible. Honest, there’s nothing like a Dylan Allen book.
Best for Last by Dylan Allen
This Lilly and Harry’s story, a Duke and a security hacker…. Lilly helps people find out if women’s husbands are cheating on them. This book was extremely interesting because it was complex. There was an initial attraction between Harry and Lilly but the things that pushed them apart were too large. It was a book I never expected to end in a happy ending because of the way their story came to be There were moments when I thought they might not end up together at all. But…. when you least expect it just ass in life, life makes the choices for you and everything changes for the better. That is what happened to Lilly and Harry in Best For Last. Dylan Allen masterfully created real life to fit into a book that was written with heart and compassion for these two unlikely characters who ended up being better fitted for each other than anyone would ever expect.
Was this my favorite book of the series? No. But it was true, real and educational and heartwarming. This series gave life to each family member and shared the life each of the sisters lived through their eyes. It was a romance series I would definitely read again. Being single and seeing what men could be for their women was refreshing because you can only find that kind of creative romance and detail with a select few authors and Dylan Allen is one of them.

I have actually been extremely excited for 2024. A lot of things are coming. Books , a newsletter for my website. And a SHOP for my website. I’m planning to release Book 3: Undying Love this year, 2024. It always puts a smile on my face to release a new book for you to read. I’m also going to get back to working on Book 4 (Isabel’s story) this year. Trust me, you don’t want to miss any of these things coming up.
But, what I’m really happy about is the fact that once again, I have found love again. I have been looking for love for most of my life, to be honest. But this time, I can feel it. It’s really found me. I feel so happy right now while I write this. Love is truly magical! And I’m not just saying that because I write about magic and true love. It really is magical. I waited a long time and being with this man, I feel I am actually falling in love with him.
I have a feeling that this year will be one I will not forget. January is definitely starting off very well and interesting.
