My Dear Readers,
Today is February 14th, Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day is meant for lovers, right? In a traditional way, yes. But, since I am still single and no, I’m not ashamed to admit it because it’s who I am, I am trying to look at love from all different angles. Love has different meanings for everyone.
On February 14th, if you are like me, try to think about the different people in your life: your parents, your siblings, your friends, your other family members, anyone who you love. A day that centers around love is a great day. I believe that to love and to be loved is the best thing in life. When I look around at my friends, I can sometimes see that they have found someone who loves them and that alone gives me hope that one day it will happen for me.
My grandparents were married for 63 years before my grandmother died and you know what? Their love story is the greatest love story I have ever heard. Love always finds a way. I believe in true love because of my grandparents and I know that people who are meant to be together will be. My deepest wish always was to find someone who would love me like my grandfather loved my grandmother. They were one of a kind people but they taught me a lot about true love.
One day, I do hope that love will finally find me as well. I write about true love and I want to live it someday. As the song goes, “Someday my prince will come, someday I will find my love and what a thrilling moment it will be when the prince of my dreams comes to me…..” if only that was true. But I guess I won’t find out today. Love will come when it’s ready.
But for now, I love my family and friends and my FANTASTIC readers. So, no matter what you do today, know that someone loves you. Someone cares about you. Someone wants you to be happy. True love never disappoints so let it come and treasure it. I love you all so much. Thank you for being here with me and joining me as I write my books!
I look forward to hearing from you soon. I thank you all for your infinite support.
