FBI agent Caid King has fought long and hard to end the corruption within his organization. After the fall of Clayton Matthews, he returns to New York with his head held high and his eye on the next target. He never could have imagined that the dangerous man he’s set his sights on would have ties to the beautiful blonde he found himself instantly drawn to.

Jemma Saige thought she had it all figured out. Her rules for survival were simple. Keep your head down, your bags packed, your running shoes on. But when she meets a man at her local gym, their attraction threatens to break the last and most important of those rules: don’t get tied down.

Now with Jemma’s secrets out in the open and both her and Caid’s lives on the line, can they find a way to work together? Or will Caid turn his back on the runner’s daughter?

I am still reading the advanced copy and let me just say, YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK.

I have always had a love of stories and the different worlds you are able to explore when you crack open the cover to a good book.”

I was born in California and moved to Texas with my family when I was a teenager. I have always been an avid reader and have been writing stories since I was a kid! It has always been a dream of mine to have my stories published and it is beyond exciting to see that dream coming true!

I have a caffeine addiction, I am a wine (red!!) lover (my favorite being Crush by Dreaming Tree!) and I love T-shirts (the kind with the hilarious sayings on them). I am OBSESSED with the TV show Scrubs and I watch it constantly. I have an amazing husband who is more supportive than I could have ever hoped for, two sweet kiddos (who keep my life wonderfully eventful), three dogs, a rabbit, and most recently Hefty Smurf the beta fish.

Growing up, reading was my way to escape reality whether it was good or bad at the time and I want my stories to offer readers the same kind of adventure I have sought out in between the covers of a book.

I hope you will buy the book and enjoy it. Please leave a review for Jessica McCrory.  I will.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.  I thank you all for your infinite support.

Remembering My Grandparents Wedding Anniversary

My Dear Future Readers

Today is a very special day. Today is my grandparents 73rd Wedding Anniversary. Yes, they were married on February 1st. They are both gone now but my mom and I still remember this day. We spend the day talking and remembering what great people they were.

My grandfather served in WWII. He was the bravest man I have ever known. My grandfather was a rare optimist. He believed that no matter what everything would be alright. My grandfather was and forever will be my example of how a man should treat his wife and family.

My grandmother always worried about everything but she knew that my grandfather would make everything alright.  They lived a happy life because they understood each other and each of them made sure that the other was happy.

In their house, I felt at peace. It made me happy to see the kind of love they shared. They were an example of the kind of love that can only be identified as true love. Yes, true love. My grandparents story is a real story of true love.

My grandmother once said, “He is my husband, my doctor, my angel, and just a good person.”

That touched me and I know that she meant every word.  My grandfather was always taking care of her. They took care of each other.

My grandmother loved telling me her parent’s story which I wrote down in a blog post ( Forbidden Fruit of the Heart).

I miss going to see them. It was always reassuring to talk to my grandparents.  Their relationship was a love story in itself that I can never forget. It feels like they are sitting right here with me on some days even though they are gone, my mom and I still remember this day and celebrate the day talking and remembering them. We eat and talk about all the good memories. There really isn’t anything bad that I can say.

Each of them have taught me about life and love. I miss them both and I really hope that they are proud of me wherever they are.

I remember singing old songs with my grandfather would make my grandmother happy. He loved singing for her. Wherever I think of them, I think of how they always wanted me to be successful.

My grandparents story was made into this blog post, A Beautiful Love Story by Geetan Jalihad  for Valentine’s Day because I want everyone to know what beautiful people they were. There are no other two people like them anymore but I do hope that my books show how true love can be real because I saw it everyday when my grandparents were alive. Those memories will stay forever.

Happy 73rd Wedding Anniversary! I miss you both so much. We love you and remember you forever.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. I thank you all for your infinite support.

2018 New Year and My Plans for 2018

My Dear Future Readers,

I hope you spend it with people you love. It is important because people who love you will always support you in everything.

This year like very year I will be spending time with my mom. I baked a cake this year. That’s one of my accomplishments in 2017. But the biggest accomplishment of 2017 was to completely edit my book and I DID IT! Book 1: Forbidden Love is completely edited and formatted for publication!!

Oh yes….I did my FIRST EVER LIVE VIDEO after Thanksgiving. I would love to do one in 2018 again.

In 2018, I hope to get Book 1:Forbidden Love Published no matter what. I also want to start editing Book 2: Sacrificed Love with an editor. I want to finish writing Annabella’s Beginning, it’s on Chapter Ten now, with 13k words.

I want to make more teasers for Book 1: Forbidden Love and Book 2: Sacrificed Love. Also, I am still working on that surprise for you so that is going to be coming in 2018 on my blog.

I want to get back to writing Book 3 of my Power of Love series. It’s hard but I think I can do it.

Also, I want to start having authors come for takeovers to our group in 2018. I want to make this group more fun. Fill it with authors and have fun giveaways too.

I promise to have more #WorkInProgressWednesdays and #Puzzle weekends. There will be a party in this group for after New Year’s Eve. I promise to make more #TeaserTuesday posts. We can pick our favorite for the PINNED POST and I will post it after the New Year.

2018 will be the year I do more then sit around and write. I want my two books in my series to be published. Of course, there will be much more in 2018 that I want to do.

For example, going to the beach more in the summer. 😄 Writing more blog posts….I hope my topics aren’t too boring.

Also, talking to you, my future readers on Live Video. And getting a new editor for my next books.

And as always…… WRITING, WRITING, WRITING. I am an author who needs to write. Maybe, I’ll even write every day for a whole year this time. A girl can hope, right? That’s why I became a full time author in January 2016.

Has it been Two years already? Wow time flies when I’m following my dream and in 2018, I plan to make my dreams a reality.

HAVE A HAPPY 2018 NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Keep on supporting me because great things are about to happen.

See you in 2018!!!!

I look forward to hearing from you soon. I thank you all for your infinite support.

Yours Truly,

Rewrites: The Honeymoon

My Dear Future Readers,

Well, you know what comes after The Wedding, don’t you? Yes, the Honeymoon!!! What kind of romance author would I be if I did not include a honeymoon in my book?

So, I decided that my characters deserved a honeymoon. Writing these beautiful scenes made me smile. I thought a royal honeymoon would be fun to write.

But editing it is harder than I thought. It’s probably because I have no experience with intimate relationships between people. Yes, I know it is a part ofthe relationship. I just feel very ….shy about writing about it. So, editing those parts of the book have been interesting and hard. A lot of rewrites which half the time, I don’t know what I’m doing.

But I mean, the book is almost finished with edits so, I think that’s good. I promise you, I will get through these edits.

The honeymoon was a hard edit but you know what? I did it. Yes, and I’m proud of how it came out. I think it still has the romantic feeling but it is better that it was.

I have even better news now…. my edits are almost done. THREE CHAPTERS LEFT TO EDIT UNTIL THE END OF THE BOOK.  I  am so excited to say that. I can’t believe it.  It feels like it took forever to edit this book but three chapters.  I hope to give you more news on the progress of my book soon.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. I thank you all for your infinite support.

Rewrites: The Long Awaited Proposal

My Dear Future Readers,

Oh my goodness, I can’t believe my edits have come so far !!! This is the best part of the book (at least for me) because this is everything the characters have been waiting for. But not only the characters, I, myself have been waiting for this.

Let me tell you, I love 💘 these characters and their story which is why I took extra care with this part of the book. Marriage and happily ever after is exactly what romance novels are all about! 💍💍💐 For me, reading a book with a happy ending is always the best kind of book.

As a young girl, l learned that sometimes the best happy ending are in books. Life has not always been easy and that why reading a book with a happy ending gave me hope. Hope in a love story is the key to a great story. I always thought a wedding is the most .

beautiful representation of true love.

Because people promise their hearts and to love each other forever.  I also believe that if it is true love then the love will last long after the wedding day. True love should be something that is constant.

The Wedding 👰🤴

The wedding was a long-awaited event in the Moon Kingdom. The Moon Kingdom and Earth Kingdom royals. The wedding would be one to remember.

If you know me, I love weddings and romance. Writing about a wedding between my two favorite characters was very exciting for me. After everything that my main characters have been through, I thought giving them a large beautiful wedding with a lot of guests would be a well-earned reward. So, I made the proposal and the wedding extra romantic.

When I was editing the chapters about the proposal and the wedding, the way it was written gave me a feeling like I am right there in the story. I wrote these chapters exactly how I wanted it to be in real life. No, to answer your question, I haven’t been married. Writing about it makes me imagine it for myself.

Edits are going well so far. I’m really close to getting it finished.  I’m proud of how it is coming together.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. I thank you all for your infinite support.

My Interview on Passion Between the Pages with Jessica Lauryn

My Dear Future Readers

On Friday, June 30th, I was interviewed by Jessica Lauryn. I had interviewed her some time ago when she first published A Passionate Play. You can reread her interview here: Interview with Jessica Lauryn about A Passionate Play. I was happy to bring Jessica Lauryn on my blog and until now I did not have a chance to come to her blog until Friday.  You can read my interview on Passion Between the Pages here: Passion Between the Pages.

My Experience as in Interviewee:

When I was asked if I wanted to be interviewed. I instantly agreed. Why? Because, one: I know Jessica Lauryn for a very long time and we are good friends. Second, I loved the questions that Jessica Lauryn asked. I was excited to share with Ms. Lauryn things about my book. I wanted to make sure that people know where the idea for Book 1: Forbidden Love and the Power of Love series came from because for a long time I have not said anything about this to anyone.

Because I thought it was too soon to start talking about the ideas and inspiration for this series. But, now as I edit the book, I began to open up to the public about my inspiration for the Power of Love series. I believe that it is important for people to know that ideas for books don’t just come out of thin air. Different authors find inspiration for their books in different places.

I find my inspiration from my family’s history and the stories that my grandparents told me. I think it is important to respect the stories and love of those people who cared enough to tell you their story.

I think that my experience as an interviewee was a wonderful thing because I felt like my ideas and my words were not taken lightly and received the respect they deserved. Also, I feel like I gained more future readers after the interview than before it. That makes me happy. I wanted to reach more people and I think I did that and for that I am grateful to Jessica Lauryn. I hope to have Jessica Lauryn interview me again one day soon or I will interview her. It’s always good to have authors as friends.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. I thank you all for your infinite support.

Forbidden Fruit of the Heart

My Dear Future Readers,

Have you noticed all the stories about true love that the parents don’t approve of for one reason or another?

Well, I have a story for you that is quite personal and dear to my heart. I have been carrying this story with me for a long time. I believe that since my blog is about true love, this story would be very fitting. My grandmother told me this story many times. My grandparents are both gone now and this story is near and dear to my heart because it is the reason why I write romance. I loved this story and now I think it is time that I share this story with you, my dear future readers.

This story is about my great-grandparents who have since long gone and are remembered fondly. The story of their love is one that made me think about fate and I still do.

Before my great-grandparents got married their families did not think it was a good idea to wed a poor boy with a fairly rich (for those times) girl.  In an effort to separate them, my great-grandfather’s family arranged his marriage with another girl of a more fitting social class.

However, fate was not happy.

The first woman my great-grandfather was to marry had burned in a fire and died right before the wedding.

My great-grandfather’s parents were horrified by the news. But soon, they introduced their son to another young woman. They seemed to like each other although not as much as he loved my great-grandmother. And so, it was decided that he would marry her.

Three days before the wedding, there was a flood in the town and the woman he was betrothed to drowned in the flood. Again they were all deeply disturbed. by the news of the flood.

And so, for the third try, my great-grandfather was introduced to  yet another woman who I believe as the story goes died in a car accident. (Or so I think.)

After the third woman died, my great-grandfather’s parents finally understood  that it was fate that had done all this. They sat with their son and said, “We do not want any more deaths on our heads. If you want to marry the woman you love, then do it. We believe that you two were meant to be.”

My great-grandparents got married and had four children, one of which was my grandmother. She was the oldest of the four. They lived a very long life. My great-grandmother never went to the doctor or hospital and the one time that she did, they did not have any medical records of her. Since my great-grandmother had been blind late in life, my great-grandfather would cut her food for her so she did not need to use a knife. He took good care of her and they lived to a very old age.

My grandmother said that her mother had long hair and she would let my grandmother braid her hair.

I believe that fate and destiny do exist and that if my great grandparents were destined to be married, then fate has always been out for lovers. When my grandmother used to tell me this story, I was always fascinated by how romantic it was. I began to fall in love with the idea of true love at the age of fifteen and sixteen. I thought I would find the same kind of true love that my great grandparents and grandparents had.

Instead, I am writing romance novels and falling in love with my characters. But, I suppose it is a start. After all, you have to start somewhere. You know, as I am writing this post, I can feel like my grandparents are watching me and I know they approve. After all, this story has been in our family for many years and it is good for the world to know that such people did exist and their love was real.

I believe that their story along with my grandparents has fueled me into writing and I appreciate them. I feel like I get to express everything that has happened in my family and the love that my grandparents have shown me through my books which in itself is wonderful.

Yes, my great-grandparents’ story was sad but it had a very happy ending. Which is why I wanted to share this with you today. True love is a beautiful thing.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. I thank you all for your infinite support.

Yours Truly,

Diana Rose
