Happy 4th of July!!

My Dear  Readers,

HAPPY 4TH Of July!!! 🎆🎇✨🎆

Today we all celebrate freedom in its own way. Every time I think of Independence Day, I think of how lucky I am to be here, to be done with school and college and to be doing what I love. I am grateful that I made this decision to be a full time Author and even more importantly a self-published Author. True, it doesn’t come easy but I am not dependent on anyone. I am completely independent and I publish my books when I’m ready.

In fact, isn’t that true independence, to be able to do what you want and not depend on anyone. So, thank you Karen D. Neal, Jessica Tahbonemah, For your help in my new career. Yes, career because I do plan to make this my career. Thank you Jessica Lauryn for my first wonderful 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 star review. To be compared with Romeo and Juliet is a great honor. Thank you so much to Kristi Cook for taking a chance on me and reading my book. I am grateful.

Independent, this word means so much to me in so many levels. Not only in my Author life but also in my every day life. Being independent is something I have learned comes slowly and stays forever.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. I thank you all for your infinite support

Yours truly,

But I promise you that I will get to reading it soon.

Countless nights she’s awoken coated in sweat, unable to shake the feeling that someone was coming for her.

But nightmares are just tricks of the mind, right?

Her world is turned upside-down when dreams become reality and a violent attack rips her away from the man she loves, landing her in a world parallel to her own.

A world teetering on the brink of a war that could destroy everything.

As she grieves her old life and struggles to come to terms with the magic-filled destiny laid out for her since birth, Anastasia discovers a dark part of her she never knew existed.

And in the coming days, that darkness might prove to be the only hope for a dying world.

Book Review of Amria by Jessica Wayne and Meg Anne

My Dear Readers,

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I just finished reading Amria by Jessica Wayne and Meg Anne. All I can say is: MIND- BLOWN! This book is even more fantastic than Star-crossed which I reviewed in my previous post: Book Review of Star Crossed by Jessica Wayne and Meg Anne. I have never read a book like this before. There were so many twists and turns that I never could have imagined that I am just in awe of the talented women who came up with this series.

Lucas and Skye are thrown deeper into the world they know nothing about. Lucas is forced to make a discovery about his family that may mean that what he knew was all lies and deception. How do you recover from the knowledge that your whole life you were living in a lie? If you ever experienced this, then you know how Lucas MacConnell feels.

Five 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Review

Jessica Wayne and Meg Anne weave a tale of love and magic like no other I have ever read before. Lucas and Skye’s story is unique and beautiful in its own right. The ever-present danger of the Druid in this story keeps the action alive. Lucas and Skye are faced with a problem that seems to be growing bigger by the minute. But, Jessica Wayne and Meg Anne illustrate that the most important thing in life is trusting the person next to you even when it seems impossible to do that. For Skye and Lucas trusting each other is yet another thing that they must learn to do.

This series will keep you on your toes.  I never thought that books could be so amazing. For me, this series has pulled me in so much that while I wait for the final book to be released, I have not read anything else. And that’s saying something about the way Jessica Wayne and Meg Anne write because usually if I am waiting for a book, I can read something else in between but with this book I can’t. I have to know what happened to Skye and Lucas. I believe that this is the best part if being an Author, when your reader can’t wait for the next book.

Jessica Wayne and Meg Anne did this for me and I am so excited to read the next book.  As a reader, I am impatient but as an Author,  I am impressed by the way these two different authors came together to create a series that I can’t stop thinking about. I couldn’t finish writing this review because I was still under the spell of these vibrant characters and the authors who created this spellbinding story. I recommend this story to anyone who wants to fall in love with this genre. I recommend it to anyone who loves to read fast paced stories. I would recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy romance and wants something new to read.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. I thank you all for your infinite support.

🌼Welcome to April🌼

My Dear Readers,

🌺🌺🌺🌺Welcome to April!🌼🌼🌼🌼

This is going to be exciting for me. My first book signing is coming up on April 16 (I think, I’ll let you know for sure.)

Also,  yes, I hope to get my book review of Amria by Jessica Wayne and Meg Anne done for you soon. I apologize that it’s taking me so long but I am going to get it done before I start reading Book 3 in the series.

Other than that, I already wrote my blurb for Book 2: Sacrificed Love and I’m waiting for edits from my editor.  I am back to writing Book 3: Undying Love at the moment which if you don’t know is part 2 of Melody and Augustine’s story. That’s going to take me a little while longer as I’m only on Chapter Ten now.  But I will get it to you as soon as I can after the publication of Book 2. I have been working steadily on it so I hope to be at least halfway through it by the time Book 2 is ready for publication. But again,  no promises because as you noticed I write very slowly and thoughtfully.

Also, this April, I might be sharing some new pictures on my Instagram account if I go to the Macy’s Flower Show (I go almost every year). It is has very beautiful flower designs and different themes every year. I take lots of pictures when I go. It’s too cold this year though.  I’m not sure.

Anyway,  have a very happy April!!!

I look forward to hearing from you soon. I thank you all for your infinite support.

Excerpt from Book 1: Forbidden Love

My Dear Readers,

After careful consideration, I decided to bring back the excerpts I posted on my Author Page. This was the first one I posted yesterday from Book 1: Forbidden Love.

You can also read Jessica Lauryn’s Goodreads Review.  She gave my book a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 review.

I hope you enjoy it.

The first thing that halted Amy were the blue eyes that penetrated her entire being. The captivating gaze had an almost magical quality about them which mesmerized her. Her heartbeat quickened. Air was trapped inside her lungs as she held her breath in anticipation–for what was the question she did not know the answer to. She shook her head and pulled herself out of the trance-like state she had not realized she had been in.

When she looked into those large pools of blue, Amy felt her heartbeat in her ears. The entire universe seemed to disappear, leaving them alone in all its vastness. Then, Amy saw a silver crown nestled on top of his ebony hair. She seemed to wake up from the spell they were both under as she realized he was a prince. This realization came with many questions Amy had no answers to. What kingdom is he from? Confusion set in as to who the young man was and where he had come from.

His face glowed in the sunshine. She could tell he was also confused. Pale red lips seemed to fit his skin tone to perfection. With broad shoulders that made his height look larger, he seemed slightly taller than her. His arms showed that he had been trained in sword fighting or running to keep himself fit. The mysterious prince wore a light blue suit with a white rose pinned to its pocket. A crisp white shirt was visible under the suit jacket. His cleanly polished shoes reflected the sun on their black surface.

“Who are you?” Amy backed away from the strange being slowly, unsure of whether or not he was dangerous.

“You have nothing to fear,” the young man reassured. However, the princess was not yet convinced

My Dear Readers,

Oh my goodness, I’ve been looking forward to this day for a  long time. I cried when I pressed that button. Yes, cried. I was hoping I would not cry but it just poured out of me. I still can’t believe that I pressed that button: PUBLISH. It’s exciting but also, “OH MY GOODNESS, I did It. I actually PUBLISHED my book.

Yes, Paperback and Kindle will be available.

Right now, after pressing publish, all I want is to cry, maybe hug something soft at least until the first shock goes away. This book was written for my my grandparents and right now I miss them both so much. It feels like they should be here but they aren’t. But I know that they would have been proud of me.

I finally did what I promised. I published this book. It was a hard road but I made it happen. I believe that this book may be able to change the world. True love is a beautiful thing that can do magical things. For me at least, it was the true love that I saw in my grandparents’ love story that gave birth to this book, Book 1: Forbidden Love and the series itself.

I will post links up on my Published Books by Diana Rose page here as well as on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as soon as they are available.

I’m so sorry to make this short but, I’m emotionally drained and super tired. I need a break.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. I thank you all for your infinite support.
