What I Learned From Writing THE END

My Dear Future Readers,

Today, I have actually finished doing rewrites for Chapters 50-52 which means, I have reached the end of the book. I can’t believe it. It FINALLY happened.  My edits are over.

Now, my editor will do a FINAL read-through of the book. I feel so lucky to have it done. Edits and rewrites are hard but I’m so happy to be finished because the book looks much better. It’s a whole new book.

Of course, this book is just the beginning of the story. There’s much more to the story of the Moon Kingdom and Earth Kingdom royals. Believe me, I’m always writing even when I was editing Book 1:Forbidden Love. Writing makes me happy.

I learned that writing “THE END” at the of a book doesn’t have to mean the end. An author is an author while they keep writing and that is what I am going to do. I will keep writing more books because I love my readers. I love being able to a part of the author community.

For me, this is the beginning of my career and I do feel anxious sometimes when I think about what my future readers will think of my book. But that is also why I want it to be the best it can be. That’s why I am so happy that I went through all the edits with this book.  My book is much better because of all the rewrites I have done.

Book 1: Forbidden Love started edits even before I was contracted because I knew that it needed improvements.  When I look back at the very first original file of this book, I can instantly see the change in the manuscript. It has developed in a way that completely transformed my writing.  This book is no longer a mess of words that seemed unconnected to each other but a beautiful piece of writing that I am proud of.

“Writing “THE END “after so long gave me a sense of accomplishment and pride.” – Diana Rose, YA Fantasy Romance Author

Yes, accomplishment and pride because no matter how many times I was pushed down, I pulled myself up and went forward. I believed in this book so much that I knew my dream would come true. Not many people believed in my work as much as I did. What I have created over time and effort will always be my greatest accomplishment. I created a name for myself in the publishing industry and I am still doing that.

Publishing this book is something that I have worked for over many years and I am grateful to those who support me through my journey. This book has come to a new beginning. Now, I believe that readers will give it a new life. My journey has only begun and writing “THE END” means that more people can enjoy my book now instead of just me. I want people to learn about what it means to truly love someone no matter what.

“THE END” is a new beginning for a book and an idea I have fallen in love with since I was a little girl. So, now I hope to give you more happy news about the next step for my journey.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. I thank you all for your infinite support.

Yours Truly,

Diana Rose
